Gigi Hadid has officially switched up her trademark blonde look, debuting a new bold hairdo at Paris Fashion Week. The model made jaws drop on the set of The Grand Diner du Louvre, when she emerged for the first time in a new sleek, silver-hued bob that is quite a departure from her classic golden waves.
Her newly dyed bob — which celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos has christened ‘silver tequila’ — shone with a metallic sheen, evoking its namesake cocktail. Giannetos set the cut in retro Hollywood pin-curl waves, imbuing the style with classic sophistication and a contemporary spin. The side-parted bob rested just above the nape of her neck, providing structure and poise to her outfit.
To complete the edgy hairstyle, make-up artist Georgi Sandev designed a radiant, sun-kissed complexion for Hadid, together with warm-shaded eye shadow, half-winged eyeliner, and a peach-brown lip. Overall beauty look gave a nod to a glamorous, retro feel.
Hadid sported a bespoke Moschino dress to dinner, featuring a tapestry of materials including beaded trim, tassels, and silver threading — the ideal complement to her newly toned locks. She was joined at the event by Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott, a close friend and collaborator.
A regular for experimenting with her hair, Hadid has attempted a range of colours and styles throughout her career. Last, she’s been spotted wearing a golden blonde bob with flicked-out ends and a side part. Red hair at the 2021 Met Gala is also etched in fans’ memories. With the upcoming Met Gala looming, everyone is waiting for Hadid to surprise us once again with yet another breathtaking look.
